Euphorbia and Jojoba beads: mechanical exfoliants, stimulate skin turnover and dissolve during massage, providing softness to the skin

Glycolic acid: the smallest of the alpha-hydroxy acids. Its low molecular weight promotes absorption in the stratum corneum. Its activity is related to the ability to reduce cohesion between corneocytes. The exfoliation of the upper layer of the epidermis and the consequent increase in the rate of cellular turnover leads to an increase in fibroblast activity and the production of collagen and elastin. Thanks to the removal of the superficial stratum corneum and the keratin plug that occludes the pores, a new skin layer is exposed that is more lush both due to the water supply (alpha-hydroxy acids have a moisturizing effect) and due to the increase in collagen and elastin.

Salicylic acid: beta hydroxy acid with keratolytic action. Commonly used to remove keratin build-up. In cosmetology, it is used at low concentrations as an exfoliating functional substance to remove superficial skin layers, with smoothing and lightening effects. However, the exfoliating and keratolytic properties are not the only ones that salicylic acid possesses.
