Through the Chakras, vital energy, PRANA, enters the organism, gives it life, and sustains it. The Chakra is a vortex of energy equipped with two "openings" or "exits", one in the front and one in the back, that governs a group of functions. When the Chakras are weak, clogged, or fragile, vital energy cannot enter and flow through the organism properly, resulting in diseases and suffering.
