The word "CHAKRA" in ancient Sanskrit means "WHEEL". Man has 7 main Chakras and additional secondary Chakras, in the hands, the soles of the feet, the nipples, and the joints. Their shapes, colors, and functions are different. They are often symbolized as lotus flowers with different petals among them. Through the Chakras, vital energy, PRANA, enters the organism, gives it life, and sustains it. The Chakra is a vortex of energy equipped with two "openings" or "exits", one in the front and one in the back, that governs a group of functions. When the Chakras are weak, clogged, or fragile, vital energy cannot enter and flow through the organism properly, resulting in diseases and suffering. Specific gems correspond to the Chakras; placing them in the corresponding locations gently cleanses, strengthens, makes the energy flow smoothly, and releases it.
