PITTA
The Fire Lioness
๐๐ป Harmony and love
๐๐ป Anger and revenge
Pitta is a person of normal weight, with a harmonious and sensual body that conveys warmth. They have a slender structure, but not as dry as Vata. There is substance. They might remind you of Vanessa Incontrada or Scarlett Johansson. A soft body, therefore, but when out of balance, they tend to gain weight. Not everywhere: rather in a specific point, in a precise area. Pitta people emotionally, having both fire and water as elements, are very controlled. They are therefore balanced, controlled, and organized by nature. Fire represents metabolism, body heat, and from an emotional standpoint, also passion. When in balance, Pitta is like a lit fireplace... it transmits warmth, peace, passion, and enveloping. But when out of balance, it becomes a wildfire. At the peak of total imbalance, save yourself if you can: Pitta becomes a volcanic eruption!
The Pitta person can be confused with the Kapha person: both give the impression of being in control, but for Pitta, the control is more harmful than the explosion itself. It is by holding back that Pitta explodes. It is the subtle difference between a peaceful person, like Kapha, and Pitta, a controlled person.
Pitta is also like this physically: when it is in balance, the fire activates the metabolism; when it is out of balance, the body fills with inflammations and retention. Here come tendinitis, cellulite, bursitis, dermatitis, gastritis, cystitis. It indicates that Pitta's fire has risen too much and the elements that characterize it have increased.
Pitta is programmed and organized. It is a machine with all the options to overcome any adversity. Pitta forgives, but does not forget. This is because, in reality, it is not able to let go: it must have everything under control. It struggles to delegate.
Pitta is also a creature of habit, whose life is regular and marked by a constant, methodical rhythm. She is also a fighter, a lioness who tends to protect people with courage. In her best version of herself, she has very high values, she is a Templar knight, and she tends to be a teacher and a guide for others. When she is out of balance, she is a hypercritical, egotistical person, even borderline.
The elements that characterize it are the medium, the warm, the red, the humid, the retention.
Her element is fire and the sense is sight. She loves beauty, is in search of the particularities and details that please the eye. She will never go around messy because she has a great aesthetic sense; everything about her is style. To a Pitta person, you must show feelings not with words, as is the case with Vata, but with actions: Pitta needs to see concrete actions towards her. Her three key words are programming, planning, control.
The skin of Pitta's face is rosy and delicate: just touching it a couple of times will make it blush, it is very reactive. Pitta tends to gain weight and somatizes: in conditions of imbalance, it may develop metabolic problems, which, depending on the emotion involved, will compromise an organ: if they get angry every day, they will develop gastritis, hiatal hernia, colitis. Do they argue and cannot express their emotions? They will experience throat disturbances, which represent "the unspoken." In Pitta, there is a coexistence of an emotional journey.
