Kapha is of normal weight or overweight, because it has an important bone structure whose tissue is thick. Even if Kapha loses weight, it is a person who will never be slender: like Gérard Depardieu, for example, Ashley Graham, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Katia Ricciarelli.
In Kapha everything is calm, reflection, slowness. It is a person who gives the idea of strength, of stability. Stability not only from a physical point of view but also emotional: Kapha is very concrete in values, it is stable, does not have fits of rage and will never betray you.
"Its element is water just like earth. Water is also present in Pitta. However, in Pitta, water is the sea, while Kapha is like a lake: the landscape does not change over time. When it is out of balance, however, this lake can become stagnant, a swamp: the water is too still. Hence, there is a tendency in Kapha to develop lymphatic problems."
The Kapha person lives in concreteness and slowness. Before speaking, they reflect a lot and are the most complicated Dosha among the three: you can never really understand how they are, they have a mood that seems unchanged... but inside, Kapha needs to be acknowledged by others. Because the Kapha person is happy precisely thanks to others: they find their real fulfillment when they care for, deeply love taking care of others, friends, family, and people in general.
The elements of Kapha are structure and substance. Kapha individuals have issues related to lymph and earth, elements that provide stability and calmness, but when out of balance, they stagnate. At the peak of imbalance, Kapha tends to self-annihilate, literally letting go and can easily fall into depression.
When in balance, Kapha is the best person you can count on, the one who will never abandon you: she says yes right away, without reservations. It is her contribution to others. You can always count on Kapha, she never says no, she is always present: you will always find her and she is reliable, loyal. Violating these values is out of the question: it would be like betraying herself.

The Kapha skin is beautiful, it has no wrinkles, it is toned and firm to the point that you almost struggle to pinch it. By nature, the pores are dilated: consequently, Kapha tends to have sebaceous activity that, if out of balance, is accelerated. The skin is nourished, but in conditions of imbalance, there is excess: too much of everything. It is mistakenly thought that Kapha is a greedy, gluttonous person. In reality, this is an imprecise definition: Kapha is born with a slow engine, which does not travel at high speeds. When it is out of balance, just one extra apple can make it gain weight: the cause lies in its "engine," which does not operate at maximum speed.
The physical tone is compact, the skin is thick, so when it is out of balance, it does not have issues. Rather, it is the weight gain and the lymph that are affected.
